Xie Jizeng, international Medicine Doctor, was born to a famous family of TCM doctors and now holds the post of visiting professor of Argentina Chinese Medicine Technological Academy, overseas professional consultant of Malaysia TCM Research Centre, president of Malaysian Sanqi Pharmaceutical Corporation Group, director of Malaysia Derentang, vice director of the principals Committee of National Private TCM Hospitals, vice director commissioner of tumor committee of Chinese Civil TCM Research and Development Society, vice director of China Civil TCM Research and Development Society，principal of Jian’an Hospital, Medicine Society of Chongwen District, Beijing and he used to be the vice president and secretary-general of Traditional Medicine Committee of Chinese Culture Research Society，visiting professor of America University of Traditional Medicine Technology，vice director of Beijing branch, Hongkong International Traditional Medicine Research Society, commissioner of World Traditional Medicine League，member of TCM Development Research committee of Chinese China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care，trustee of China-Beijing Tumor and Bone Diseases，editor members of specials for pains in neck, shoulders, waist and legs，editor member of Capital Medicine Magazine，editor member of Famous Doctors and Experts Guide of the PRC，trustee of Canadian World TCM Society，executive trustee of International TCM Healthcare Research Committee of China Healthcare Technology Society.

Mr. Xie started to learn basic medicine theories in the year 1963 and became a doctor in a town clinic in 1966. In the year 1968 he joined the army and went to the Medical College of Beijing Military Area and then Hebei Medical College. Mr. Xie provided military medical service as a part time job and has been engaged in the prevention and treatment of tumor after graduation. In the year 1974 the principal of the army, conforming to the important order of premier Zhou Enlai ‘We must overcome cancer’，nominated physician Xie Jizeng the leader of Tumor Research Team of the military area. In order to get a better understanding and more experience in preventing and treating cancer, Mr. Xie went around the country to consult with an open mind the famous old TCM doctors and tumor patients who have been treated with proved, secret and folk recipes and audaciously but also scientifically concluded the pathogeny and pathology of tumor from the view of Chinese medicine and the accompanied symptoms and the transfer, and thus achieved cure and brought symptoms to normal condition，and formed a series of specific diagnosing methods and mature treating methods especially differentiating syndrome to decide treatment to lung cancer, leucocythemia, bladder cancer, galactophore cancer, encephaloma, tumor in digestive system and achieved satisfactory effects. The long-term effort-taking research and continuous hardworking，adventurous practice and exploration helped to gain valuable experience in treating tumor and complicated diseases with combination of Chinese and western medicine. Mr. Xie has been the Chinese medicine physician-in-charge of No.105, No. 267, No. 251, and No.268 Hospital, of Zhangjiakou city and became the principal of Jian’an Hospital, Chongwen District, Beijing in 1994. He turned his attention to overseas and focused on the investment in 2005. Derentang was set up in Melaka, Malaysia with Mr. Xie Jizeng as the president and Sanqi Pharmaceutical Corporation Group was meanwhile established in Melaka with Mr. Xie as the president.

Professor Xie summarized the experience of himself in the last years and compiled the book Guide to Recovery of Lung Cancer Patients and composed many professional research papers that won many rewards of excellence, such as 3500 Cases of Lung Cancer Treated with Feidan, Treating Urticaria with Combination of Quick Puncture on Points with Three Ridge Needle and Cupping, Treating Galactophore Diseases with Rujieling, Clinic Observations of 178 Cases of Diabetes Treated with Sanxiao Capsule, Curative Effect of 375 Cases of Leucocythemia Treated with Arsenic(III)oxide Helped with TCM . It is particular worth mentioning ‘Qibeian Granule’, the new drug he prescribed of treating lung cancer in November 2000 was approved to be the prescription of hospitals by Beijing Drug Administration and issued national patent by State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China on the date of Sep 1, 2004.

Professor Xie has visited many countries and areas such as the USA, Luxemburg, Belgium, France, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka etc for academic communication and lectures. He developed the pure TCM product for treatment of lung cancer and won the first prize golden cup for world traditional medicine. In 1996 he was invited to attend the World Traditional Medicine Conference held in the US and won the first award golden cup. He was invited to take part in the activity of ‘Chinese famous doctors welcoming the regression of Hong Kong’ in the year 1997 and was granted International Medicine Doctor by WTO in the same year. In June 1998, his ‘TCM Feidan treating Lung Cancer’ was appraised to be the first class golden award in South Korea and in November the same year the same subject was appraised to be Technology Leading Award in Germany. And also in the same year, he was awarded the top International Golden Award in International ‘Darwin’ Biological and Medical Achievements Exposition- ‘contribution to human beings’ by the associated appraising of ‘Darwin Archenemy of USD Edison Invention Center’, ‘International Biological Engineering Academe of Hong Kong Academy of Sciences’ and International Honors Associated Appraising Committee of European Communities. In the same year, he was awarded as ‘world successful person’ by World Academy of Sciences and meanwhile gained the ‘Excellent Technology Achievements of world traditional medicine from the 4th World Traditional Medicine Convention’.

Meanwhile，he was awarded ‘Contribution Award of PRC Famous Doctors with Achievements’ and ‘Golden Honored Award of the High and New Research Achievements of Chinese Famous Doctors by Characteristic Medicines Cooperation Center of China TCM Academe, China High and New Intellectual Property Rights Appraising Committee in May 2000 and at the same time, he was appointed to be a member of editors for China Famous Doctors Guide, State Edition. In March 2001, he was engaged as subject professor by Hong Kong International Traditional Medicine Committee. In December 2002，he was honored the title of ‘Family of Renowned Generations’ of TCM Doctors’ by Chinese Traditional Medicine Achievements Intercommunication Committee and on November 17,2007 he was honored as “National Excellent Principal of Private TCM Hospitals” at “the First National Commend Meeting for Excellent Private TCM Medical Organizations”.

The above delectable achievements are made through long-term hardy efforts with the audacious spirit of exploration and such achievements have been reported for many times by many medias in China, especially the column of Health World by Ministry of the Health who made a special topic documentary Interview to Xie Jizeng. As professor Xie has made outstanding contribution to Chinese culture, he is listed continuously in Chinese Thesaurus of Persons with Ability, Chinese Contemporary Thought Thesaurus, Thesaurus of Achievements of PRC Experts, Thesaurus of PRC Famous Doctors and Experts, Encyclopedia of Chinese Medicine. Column of High and New Diagnosis and Treat Methods of Chinese Famous Doctors, Thesaurus of Chinese Experts， Scientific Chinese, Chinese Experts Thesaurus and Thesaurus of Chinese Characters and his eximious achievements has raised the wide attention of the medicine fields at home and abroad.
